FAQ

Welcome to my FAQ page! Here, I've compiled a comprehensive list of frequently asked questions to provide you with quick and convenient answers.
Do you choreograph for events?

Yes I do. To date I have choreographed fashion shows, wedding dances, entertainment for product launches and full-scale productions. Please contact me with your request.

Do you work with models?

Yes. I work with many models & pageant girls to improve their confidence, their posing & their catwalk skills.

Can I bring a friend with me to class?

Yes of course but please let me know first, places are limited.

I feel self-conscious/nervous about coming to class, should I come?

Absolutely yes! It's a decision you won't regret, I promise you. I pride myself knowing all my classes non-judgemental safe-spaces where everyone can come, be themselves & let go.

Do you give classes outside of Paris?

Yes I do! I try to organise workshops at least once a month outside of Paris. Check my class schedule for more info.

How do I reserve a place in one of your classes?

Reservations can be made via the contact form, by email or by private message on my social media pages. Write to me using the 'CONTACT ME' button and don't forget to let me know which class you are interested in!

Do you offer private classes?

Yes absolutely. I offer private and small group classes (cabaret, yoga & barre) at your home, at a dance studio or a location of your choice. Please contact me for further information and pricing.

What is your cancellation policy on classes?

I have a strict 48h cancellation policy with my classes. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the class start time, after this time the full price of the class is due. To cancel please send me a message via the form or my social media accounts. There are often waiting lists for my classes & last-minute cancellations prevent other students having an opportunity to participate. If the class has been booked via a school or studio, please contact them directly.

I'm pregnant, can I still come to class?

Yes but check with your doctor first! For yoga I would advise to either modify poses or ideally go to specific pre-natal yoga classes; for fitness classes stick to low-impact classes and skip the abdominal exercises. Cabaret class is totally fine but make sure your heels aren't too high (or wear trainers!).

I have an injury, can I still do class?

In theory yes, but please consult your doctor first. Don't hesitate to adapt the movements in order to suit your body, only you know what you can or can not do. Cabaret classes can be taken in sneakers if necessary.

How many people are in each class?

Class sizes vary and can be anywhere between 5 and 25 people. If the thought of a group class is daunting to you, why not think about having a private lesson first to familiarise yourself with the technique?

How much are your classes?

Group classes start at 35€ for a two hour class and private classes are from 70€. Prices may vary in according to the location/studio. Please contact me for specific pricing.

How do I sign up to your classes?

What shoes should I wear for a cabaret class?

The ideal shoes for cabaret class are a medium height dance heel or sandal, similar to those you would see a latin/ballroom dancer wearing. The shoes should be stable, not too high (maximum 10cm) and with no platform and no stiletto heel. Ideally the foot should be held in the shoe by either straps across the front of the shoe or at the ankle. Boots are also acceptable. Please see my recommended products page for examples.

What should I wear to a cabaret class?

Wear clothes you feel comfortable in and in which you can easily move your body. I suggest leggings and a t-shirt or crop top but it's totally up to you!

Can men come to your classes?

Yes of course, cabaret & heels dance isn't just for women, everyone is welcome!

Do you do classes for bachelorette/hen parties?

Yes all the time and it's sooo much fun! A cabaret/burlesque class is a great activity to do between friends for a special occasion. Message me & we can organise something special!

I own a dance school & would like to organise a workshop with you, is this possible?

Yes of course! Please send me a message & we can organise something special for your students!

Can my child/pet/partner come & watch class?

Unfortunately I do not allow non-participants to come & watch classes. This is to ensure the well-being of my students, to maintain the relaxed, 'safe-space' environment & because of the sometimes adult-nature of the discussions in class (cabaret).

Are your classes suitable for beginners? (cabaret)

Most of my classes are 'All Levels' and so are suitable for beginners. I always offer modifications for different levels. From time to time I give specific beginner or advanced level classes; the information is always clearly marked on my post/story. If you have a doubt, don't hesitate to contact me.

Do you offer private yoga lessons?

Yes I do. I offer private and small group classes for individuals, events & corporate groups at home, at your hotel or in a location of your choice.

What equipment do I need for a yoga class?

To start off with just a yoga mat & some comfortable clothes. For regular classes, 2 yoga blocks and a yoga strap can be very useful.

Are your classes suitable for beginners (yoga)

My hatha yoga classes are suitable for beginners but I would suggest taking a few classes before coming to a vinyasa or a power yoga class. This will allow you to familiarise youself with the practice and prevent possible injury.

Do you offer private barre fitness classes?

Yes I do. I offer private or small group classes at your home/hotel, in a hired studio or a location of your choice. Classes are fully adapted to your needs & requests.

I've never done ballet or pilates, can I do barre?

Yes of course. Barre fitness classes are suitable for all levels, even total beginners.

What should I wear to a barre class?

A comfortable stretchy fitness outfit such as leggings & a top and bare feet.
